Well, since we turned our 3rd bedroom into Katie's room, we have no place for guest, aka Mimi and Gramps. They got a hotel room about a mile up the road. Christmas Eve my parents and Bill and Connie came over. Kris cooked us dinner. One of the best. He did a stuffing ( for the 1st time) and stuffed it in quail. So good.
We opened Bill and Connie's gifts; Korbin got an awesome electric light thing, and a book of tricks/gags. He loved them! 3 weeks AFTER he is still pulling tricks on me. Got me good with 'fake vomit' that he made. He told me they had let Simmie in while I was at work and he threw up. Ohhh, I got so mad that Kris didn't clean it! Little prankster. They got Katie a playmat. This thing lights up, plays music, moves...with about a hundred hanging toys. At least 4 minutes of pure joy!! :) We found out that Bill is some what of a baby whisperer. Just holding Katie, she was falling asleep in his arms. That was a first!
Santa and Gramps set up Katie's new jumparoo. Thank goodness for picture directions.
7:00am Christmas morning, Mimi and Gramps come in. We do Christmas and in about 30 minutes it was all over. Great time. Lots of great things!! We ate all day, made a yummy new drink and just enjoyed the day.
